The newly-launched HydroMaster 2000 makes the best use of modern technology for an excavating experience that will surprise many. Because it’s just so easy and quick. It also solves a long-standing problem – how to dig a hole without impacting the surrounding area and potentially causing damage.
There’s a lot to consider when excavating a hole. There’s the different soil structures; the challenge of access to a site that’s not always as spacious as you would like; and then there’s that perpetual risk of hitting unexpected utilities because let’s face it, not every homeowner knows where their water pipes and power cables are buried, and Council Plans aren’t always 100% correct…
This is precisely why the HydroMaster is so special. With its compact design and long vacuum hose it can work in tight spaces. It uses high pressure water to move dirt, turn it into a slurry and then suck it up with the vacuum hose into its tank: quickly excavating a hole of the size and depth that’s needed. What’s more, if it hits any obstacles – pipes, cables, etc. – the water just works around them without damage or danger.
Stu Bulled from Bulled Contractors was one of the first to try the HydroMaster 2000 and was blown away by the difference it makes to complex digging jobs.
“We had pile holes to suck out and it was all rocks and stones. Because it was all shingle it was going to cave in. We couldn’t use a digger because the hole would be too big, we couldn’t use an auger because of the stones. We were able to use the HydroMaster 2000 to suck out the holes we wanted – 450 round and 2m deep – it worked really well.”

Innovating with the end user in mind is a hallmark of Master Machinery approach, as David Smith, Head of Research & Design explains.
“With Master Machinery we like to work with our customers to innovate and achieve design excellence. We’ve been working since March 2021 to test and evolve the design of the Hydro Vacuum Excavator and we’ve made many modifications since the original model was launched. We’re pleased these modifications have been well received by users and the machine really showcases our vision of being so incredibly easy to use, and effective on the big jobs.”
